Spring Training: mid-February through March
Spring training is the perfect time to enjoy beautiful spring weather in Arizona. Goodyear Ballpark is bustling with activity beginning mid-February when players report. Fans can catch the Indians and Reds daily workouts at their player development complexes throughout the spring training season, which runs through most of March. Each season consists of approximately 30 games, which equates to about a game a day for 30 days. Most games start at 1:05 p.m.
Whether you prefer relaxing on a blanket on the grassy berm, or enjoying the view from a luxury suite balcony behind home plate, you’ll have an excellent view of the game in this intimate venue. The surrounding scenery that provides a gorgeous backdrop for the facility is an added bonus. The Kids Zone, which consists of a kid-sized wiffle ball field and four baseball themed inflatable activities, is the largest in the Cactus League, and is free for all ages.
Goodyear Ballpark was named the best place to see a spring training game as voted by Phoenix New Times readers Best of Phoenix - twice - and by USA Today's 10BEST reader's choice as the best place to watch a spring training game in Arizona. We appreciate the votes, and will work tirelessly to continue providing a fan experience that is unparalleled.
